Synopsis
Scattered by the harsh designs of reality, Axtapor and Mariel are forced to confront the aftermath of runaway hopes. A new struggle begins to take shape as their worlds narrow around them, and the reprieve of dreams becomes newly alluring… Directionless, they descend into the deepest parts of the mind, grasping at fate in search of the truth.
But they are not the only ones searching for answers.
Elsewhere on the seas of Oepus float, Captain Fay Anara and her Quartermaster, the famed Son of The Moon. Voracious, the two set sail upon the Mirage for their most ambitious pillage yet. Their take? The high seas themselves. But when the long arm of fate intervenes, reality warps, memories begin to fail, and things take a turn for the worst.
And somewhere, a wailing can be heard.
Faintly, faintly, a cursed door swings open once more, shattering the notions of what is and isn’t possible.
