Hi, I’m N. Opal (call me Nopal 🌵) and I write for fun!

Besides being a writer and avid reader I am a:

• pirate and nautical history enthusiast
• side-quest junkie
• resident bite-off-more-than-I-can-chew-er
• maritime museum docent
• platform engineer
• big fan of lists (can you tell?)

When I’m not packing my calendar full of things to do, you can find me rewatching the same five movies over and over again (I’m trying to branch out, okay?) while doing the laundry I definitely haven’t been putting off for weeks.

I’m based in Southern California, or as I like to call it, the Land of Eternal Sunshine, have two cats and a very patient husband. Life’s pretty swell around here.
